Happy Halloween!

I LOVE Halloween and we had such a fun one! The kids were so excited all month! Tyler was Zorro, Brooklyn was a glamorous cat, Derek was a vampire, and Benjamin was Elmo (as long as he kept his hat on).

They were excited to dress up in their costumes for school. Tyler has never loved costumes and getting dressed up, so he wasn't as excited about that. Brooklyn and Derek couldn't wait.

Here's them dressed up and ready for school (don't look too close at Derek's makeup, I barely had enough time to do it before running him to Kindergarten!)

On the day before Halloween, we went to Kevin's work party. It's always a lot of fun. They decorate the whole office and the kids trick-or-treat at each door. They also have pizza and cookies. It's so much fun and the kids LOVE it, except Benjamin was scared of most of the decorations!

And of course, on Halloween we went Trick-or-Treating. I LOVE Trick-or-Treating (or watching the children Trick-of-Treat)! I always relive my childhood vicariously through my children. I still feel sad when we have to head home and wait a whole 'nother year to Trick-or-Treat again. I think I've passed this trait on to my children too, because they never want to quit either.

It's a BOY!

Well, we found out today that we will be having another Banner boy! It was so much fun to see him on the Ultrasound and we were so happy that everything looked healthy and normal!

So, seriously, I don't know what in the world we are going to name him. We have pretty much been out of boy names since Tyler. I don't think Kev likes any of my names except Jacob. I really don't LOVE any of the names I picked either, so we'll hope to find a name we both love. My criteria for a good boy name is: 1. has to be a good name for a little boy AND a grown man. 2. Can't have any chance of morphing into a girl's name over the years.

Sooooooo....any ideas, let me know!

Tell me your favorite baby names!

Okay guys, tomorrow we're going in for our Ultrasound and should hopefully find out what kind of baby we're having! ;-) So, I'm thinking about baby names! I put up some baby name polls on here, so let me know what you think!!??? It's kind of weird, but for some reason we like a lot of "A" girl names and a lot of "J" boy names. Actually I don't think Kev likes any of those boy names, but he hasn't told me what he does like, so those are the names I like....

Also, if any of you have any really cute baby names that you're willing to share...send them my way! We ALWAYS have such a hard time naming our children!

A funny quote from Brooklyn...

Brooklyn said something funny on Halloween night that made me laugh...

We had just returned from Trick-or-Treating and the kids were inspecting their goods. Brooklyn said, "Why do all the small candy bars say 'Fun Size'...I think the big ones are a lot more fun!"

I had to laugh. I think she hit the nail right on the head...I can definitely relate.
