Christmas Eve Festivities with the Banners

We went up to Oregon for Christmas this year to spend it with Kev's family.  We had a great time!

The Banners have so many fun Christmas Eve traditions that I love.  It was so much fun to be there.

We decorated sugar cookies, enjoyed listening to Grandpa Banner tell Christmas stories, and sang Christmas Carols around the piano.

Our kids also got new "feetie" jammies and had a little gift exchange amongst themselves.  We had a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Kevin's mom made the yummiest sugar cookies and let the kids decorate them.  The kids had a lot of fun decorating AND eating the cookies!
Benjamin, "enjoyed" decorating cookies!
Grandpa Banner is such a great story teller.  Here he is telling Christmas stories while all the grandkids listened intently
Grandpa reading the favorite, "How Mrs. Claus Saved Christmas."  He's been reading this story every year for a very long time!
Benjamin and Jacob with Grandma Banner!

Tyler with his Lamborghini (from Jacob)
Brooklyn with her Taylor Swift CD (from Benjamin)
Derek with his Lightning McQueen fighting car (from Brooklyn).  He saw this car in Wal-mart one day and LOVED it!  He couldn't stop playing with it!
Benjamin opening his present from Derek.  For some reason I didn't take a picture of the actual present.  He got a Toy Story 3 garbage truck and he loved it so much!
