Hike to Donut Falls

On October 16th, we took the family on a fun hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Donut Falls.  It is a PERFECT hike for a small family.  It is easy, beautiful and not too long of a hike (3/4 mile).  It's also fun to see the falls at the end.  We brought a lunch and ate at the falls.  It was a fun day.  Here are some pics...

Just starting out...
Taking a rest and enjoying the beautiful scenery
Kev, Ben, Jake, Brooklyn...Kevin is always so good to carry the babies!  I try to carry them part of the time, but he always takes them back!  I don't know if it's just because he is a wonderful husband and doesn't want to wear me out, or if he's just worried I will trip (I've been known to be a klutz!)  Kevin is amazing though and never seems to get tired!
Quick pic amidst the trees
Eating lunch at the falls...you can kind of see them behind us...
Heading back...this is the only hard part of the hike and it's not too bad.
