Run Derek Run!

Derek has enjoyed running for about as long as I can remember.  He has always been an active boy and has loved to run FAST!  So, we decided to sign him up for Track and Field this past summer and he had a great time!  He participated in several track meets and won several 3rd and 4th place ribbons.  He competed against the 6-8 year olds (he was 6), so he was one of the smallest and youngest kids to compete, but he did great job.  It was fun to watch him run as fast as he could...his little legs would move so fast and he looked so determined.  We were very proud of him and it was a great experience.
